Congratulations to Becky Forde who received the “Spirit of the Final” award for her outstanding performance in the Division 1 Camogie final last month. Click in for photos!

We are now taking enrolments for children joining the school in Sept 2017.  Please complete an enrolment form and return it to the school by 1st Dec.  Enrolments forms are available from the school  or on the “Documents” page of this website.

Baconstown NS Parents’ Association are hosting a table quiz in Boggan’s Bar, Rathcore on Friday 18th November at 9pm.  Table of 4 entry fee €40.00. All support welcome.

Our girls camogie team who competed in the Division 1 Cumann na mBunscol final were very unlucky on the day to lose to a bigger Ratoath team. Congratulations to Becky who got the Spirit of the Final award.

Well done to our girls Camogie team who have made it to the Division 1 Cumann na nBunscol final. The girls will play Ratoath SNS in Trim GAA Club, this Saturday the 22nd of October at 11:15am. All supporters are welcome!

On Friday April 29th 4th, 5th and 6th classs went to Dublin on a 1916 walking tour.

As part of the 1916 commemorations, our school took part in Proclamation Day 2016.  During this ceremony, children read their individual and class Proclamations which was followed by the raising of the Irish flag and the singing of the National Anthem. Click in for more photos..
