The children from Baconstown NS have a special message for Vincent & Ann Nangle who are retiring this week from Nangles Shop in Agher after 65 years.
Thank you to the students from 4th, 5th and 6th for making over 50 shoe-boxes for Team Hope’s Christmas shoe box appeal.
During the European Week of Sport, September 22nd-30th, our whole school took part in the Tour of Europe Challenge! Our aim was to walk, jog or run as far as we could around Europe, starting at The Spire!!! The whole school walked a total of 5475 laps of the playground which converted to 1368.75km. This got us as far as the Brandenburg Gate in Germany!!!!
Best of luck to Ms Ennis playing with Meath on Sunday against Tyrone in the Ladies All Ireland Intermediate Football final.
Confirmation will take place Friday 8th March 2019. First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday 25th May.
Congratulations to Kathlyn, Patrick and Cormac who were awarded certificates for their entries in the Write-a-poem competition.
